Vertech were nominated as finalist for the Woodside Awards in the category of Innovation for the successful execution of a very challenging asset deployed subsea inspection scope.
This project was an industry first for deploying advanced NDT techniques using observation class ROV’s from an FPSO in challenging weather and sea state conditions. The project has set the standard for what can be achieved when long term partnerships and cohesive teams are developed between the contracting company and its suppliers who are discipline experts in their field.
Vertech was the primary contractor for this project and developed the subsea capabilities with Geo Oceans, TSC and Sonomatic.
