Geo Oceans have utilised new subsea robotics technology on an floating offshore storage and offloading FPSO to complete a diverless UWILD inspection resulting in a 90% cost saving, reduced health and safety risk and reduced facility downtime.
The inspection was completed using the Mini ROV CSS technology developed by Geo Oceans. The technology has enabled Geo Oceans to eliminate the use of commercial divers, work class ROVs and dive support vessels for the FPSO UWILD class inspection and enabled the facility to continue operation with minimal isolations and no production downtime.
