Geo Oceans deployed a 3-man ROV inspection team plus surveyor and equipment to perform a full field survey using the Mini-ROV CSS system deployed from a non-DP 24m vessel.

The Scope of Work Included:
- ROV – pipeline free-span, well-head CP and visual inspection and anchor systems using contact CP, HD video and USBL survey positioning.
- Seismic – debris survey, pipeline free-span survey and pipeline alignment using multibeam, side scan sonar and sub-bottom profiling
This survey was the second phase of the full field survey. Part one was an underwater inspection of a platform in the same field, using an asset deployed ROV system.
Combined, the two scopes resulted in substantial carbon emission reduction and cost savings for the client resulting from a reduction in large vessel use and costs, labour costs, health and safety management and logistical complexity.
