Geo Oceans and Vertech successfully executed another round of RBI water ballast tank inspections for an oil and gas operator on an FPSO offshore of Western Australia. Four water ballast tanks were inspected across two offshore campaigns using ROV HD GVI, CVI and NDT inspection methods to satisfy the ABS classification requirements for the vessel. Advanced inspection data recording and management systems were developed and implemented for this project, allowing the ROV Inspector to event log, tag and overlay all inspection data.
