Geo Oceans completed an ROV coral monitoring survey in Brunei for Shell. Mini ROV survey equipment combined with GO Visions™ marine habitat survey technology was used to capture spatially accurate HD video, still images and marine habitat data.
The multidisciplinary field team included an experienced ROV Supervisor and a marine scientist trained in habitat surveys and ROV operations. Post-survey, the GIS coral data were analysed, mapped and included in a technical report that supported the client’s environmental management of their operations in the region.
