Geo Oceans has recently conducted a survey of FPSO mooring chains from FPSO through to burial, including dredging and excavation of chains. The scope included visual inspections, CP, Cleaning, Dredging and gauging of chain links and potential anomaly locations in order to support asset, integrity management decision-making by the asset owner.
The work was completed by Geo Oceans using innovative methods combining small ROV systems deployed and operated from the clients supply vessel , which drastically reduced costs associated with the project.
In addition to the mooring survey, Geo Oceans conducted several well inspections, whilst in the field supporting ongoing regulatory compliance requirements for the client.
